Netflix, Inc., bajo la licencia de Capcom, ha realizado un lanzamiento preliminar de Monster Hunter Rise para dispositivos iOS y Android en Filipinas, requiriendo el uso de una suscripción activa de Netflix para jugar.
Esta nueva versión del juego permite a los usuarios acceder a misiones de eventos y retos, previamente disponibles por contenido descargable, a medida que vayan progresando en el juego; se añade un botón especial que seleccionar el objeto más efectivo del inventario para el combate, en dependencia de la salud y estado del cazador, además de la opción de jugar con un control tradicional de videojuegos en adición a los controles táctiles adaptados a la pantalla del móvil y tabletas.

These features and improvements are new to the mobile version of the game:
- Challenge and Event Quests previously available as paid or temporary downloadable content can now be unlocked as you progress through the game.
- The new Recovery Button automatically selects the most effective item from your inventory during a fight, depending on the hunter’s health and status. This lets you focus on more urgent decisions in the heat of the action.
- Reconstructed touch controls work intuitively on smartphone and tablet screens, including each weapon’s unique control scheme. Visuals are designed to look natural on all supported devices, for a variety of screen sizes and ratios.
